Under summer conditions and in front of a large crowd of spectators, the on August 1st KW 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Rennen held as the seventh round of the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series. Over the six-hour distance, the Mercedes-AMG Team RAVENOL after 41 rounds against Schubert Motorsport as well 48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON through.
Of particular focus was the racing comeback of Ralf Aron. The Estonian returned to competition for the first time since his injury at the 12 Hours of Bathurst and secured pole position right in qualifying with a lap time of 7:51.506 minutes. Together with Luca Stolz he converted this starting position into an unchallenged overall victory. For Stolz, it was also a successful achievement on his 31st birthday.
Second place was taken by Schubert Motorsport with the BMW M4 GT3 EVO. Jens Klingmann, Ugo de Wilde and GT3 newcomer Tim Tramnitz at the Nordschleife they stayed in close contact with the front runners and impressed with a consistent performance. For Tramnitz, the podium meant a successful debut in a GT3 car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
The final spot on the overall podium was secured by 48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON I am Porsche 911 GT3 R EVO. Patrick Assenheimer, Tobias Müller and Dylan Pereira won the class at the same time SP9 PRO-AM. Fourth place went to Goroyan RT by Car Collection, while FK Performance Motorsport fifth place only in the final lap against Muehlner Motorsport conquered.
In the class SP9 AM sat down Renazzo Motorsport racing the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO II against the Porsche of BLACK FALCON Team EAE through.
Emotional farewell for the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS
A joint project provided a special moment Porsche Heritage & Museum and Team75 Bernhard. Timo Bernhard and Jörg Bergmeister bade farewell to the last mid-engine Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport produced in Zuffenhausen in racing action. The duo completed 37 race laps and finished fourth in the SP10 class.
Decisions in the one-make cups
In the class CUP2 celebrated BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN with Alexander Hardt, Benjamin Hites and Benjamin Koslowski ahead of the class victory LIQUI MOLY with BLACK FALCON. Third place went to SRS Team Sorg Rennsport.
The Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (CUP3) won again Smyrlis Racing. Oskar Sandberg and Alexander Fielenbach fought their way back to the front despite a drive-through penalty for a false start and celebrated their fourth win of the season. The other podium positions went to two vehicles from W&S Motorsport.
The championship remains exciting
Defending with another class victory Edoardo Bugane, Yannick Fuebrich and Sven Markert from Adrenalin Motorsport Team Mainhattan Wheels their lead in the NLS overall standings. The trio has won all races of the season in their class so far and leads the standings with the maximum points of 79.
The remaining championship places are occupied by Alexander Fielenbach and Oskar Sandberg with 64 points and Anton Abée, Yannik Himmels and Jörg Viebahn with 56 points. Behind them lie Benjamin Albers and Raphael Rennhofer each within striking distance with 55 points. Since all results count toward the standings this season and no drop scores are planned, the title race remains particularly wide open in the remaining events.
Following the six-hour season highlight, the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie is taking a short summer break. The season will continue on September 12 and 13, 2026 with the double-header from NLS8 and NLS9 at the Nürburgring.
