After a comparatively quiet year surrounding the likeable racing driver Jan-Erik Slooten from Geldern, there is now news: The popular driver, who can count on a large fan base, announces his return to the race track for 2026.
In an Instagram post simply captioned „2026 Countdown...“, much suggests that fans and competitors can expect a new project featuring a Porsche race car. A short video accompanying the post also shows a sticker reading „24H NBR 2026“ – a clear indication of a potential participation in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring race.
Particularly interesting: Timo Scheider, who now lives near the Nürburgring, also shared the video and commented, „...let's goo.“ This suggests that the former DTM champion might also be involved in the planned project.
