Seven vehicles for Europe confirmed
Sant’Agata Bolognese / Europe, February 2026 – Lamborghini Squadra Corse will field a total of seven units of the new Temerario GT3 in the 2026 European motorsport season. Four cars will compete in the DTM, while three more will be entered in the GT World Challenge Europe.
In the DTM, two renowned teams are relying on the new GT3 race car: ABT Sportsline and Grasser Racing Team (GRT) will each deploy two Lamborghini Temerario GT3s. This will see Lamborghini represented in the traditional German racing series with a strong lineup.
In parallel, the Temerario GT3 will also compete in the GT World Challenge Europe. Rutronik Racing plans to enter one car for the entire season. Additionally, Grasser Racing Team will enter one car in the Endurance Cup, while Vincenzo Sospiri Racing (VSR) will enter one car in the Sprint Cup.
The Temerario GT3 is the first completely newly developed GT3 race car from Lamborghini Squadra Corse based on the current Temerario production model. The vehicle has already been homologated by the FIA and has completed more than 15,000 kilometers in extensive test programs, including endurance tests under race conditions.
Its race debut will be celebrated by the new Lamborghini Temerario GT3 in March 2026 at the 12 Hours of Sebring in the USA. In Europe, teams will receive their vehicles during official test drives before the season begins.
Lamborghini is pursuing a targeted launch strategy with limited production numbers for its new model to ensure comprehensive technical support for the teams. For the 2027 season, the manufacturer plans a significant expansion of production with additional vehicles to meet high demand.
With the use of the Temerario GT3 in the DTM and GT World Challenge Europe, Lamborghini underscores its long-term commitment to international GT3 customer racing and takes an important step into the next generation of its racing cars.
