Ein verunglückter Stammwagen, ein kurzfristiger Fahrzeugwechsel und ein anspruchsvoller Flugplatzkurs: Beim Carrera Cup in Diepholz musste Olaf Manthey am 5. August 1990 beweisen, dass auch unter widrigen Umständen mit ihm zu rechnen war. Im ungewohnten weißen Porsche 964 ging es um wertvolle Punkte in einer Saison, die Motorsportgeschichte schreiben sollte.
