The R26 Concept marks the beginning of a new era.

Audi unveiled the design for its 2026 Formula 1 entry for the first time at its Brand Experience Center in Munich. The Audi R26 Concept provides a concrete outlook on the visual and technological appearance of the works team in the premier class – and symbolizes the brand's transformation.

„Entry into Formula 1 is the next step in Audi's realignment,“ explains CEO Gernot Döllner. „We want to win, but with a clear, realistic plan. A top team doesn't emerge overnight, but through perseverance, precision, and team spirit.“

The R26 Concept embodies Audi's new design philosophy with the design principles clear, technical, intelligent, and emotional. The color concept combines Titanium, Carbon Black, and the new Audi Red. The iconic four rings appear in red for the first time – symbolizing courage and determination.

Under the leadership of Mattia Binotto and Jonathan Wheatley The new work team is intensively preparing for its debut. With Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto Audi relies on a mix of experience and young talent.

The entry falls into a phase of great technical upheaval: From 2026, the regulations will mandate more electrical power and sustainable e-fuels – perfect conditions for the entry of a manufacturer whose brand core Advancement through technology reads.

With over 820 million fans worldwide, Formula 1 offers a stage like no other racing series – and Audi is using it to shape the future of the brand: precisely, uncompromisingly, and emotionally.
