On June 11, 1989, three Sauber-Mercedes C9s crossed the finish line at Le Mans in formation. Jochen Mass, Manuel Reuter, and Stanley Dickens won the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in their Silver Arrows. It was the return of the Silver Arrows to the motorsport stage.
