Home · ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring 2026 with Record Field and High-Caliber Lineup

The ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring will take place from May 14 to 17, 2026, and is already making a clear statement in advance: with 161 registered vehicles, the largest starting field since 2014 is expected. At that time, 165 vehicles participated in the endurance classic on the Nordschleife.

Due to high interest, the originally planned participant limit has been adjusted. This was made possible, among other things, by organizational changes in the paddock and by the cooperation of the teams, who partially reduced their space requirements.

Major New Addition: Max Verstappen at the Start

Max Verstappen, among others, is in focus, competing in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring for the first time. He is starting for his own team and will share a Mercedes-AMG vehicle with experienced teammates. The driver lineup is considered strong and counts among the extended circle of favorites.

Top-tier competition at the elite level

A total of 49 vehicles are competing in the most powerful classes. Numerous established teams and manufacturers are represented, including:

  • BMW with multiple top vehicles
  • Porsche, among others, with the well-known „Grello“ service vehicle
  • Audi
  • Lamborghini
  • Aston Martin
  • Ford

Other manufacturers like Ferrari and McLaren are also represented. A total of nine brands will compete in the top class.

Diversity as a hallmark of the race

In addition to the top group, the wide range of vehicle classes particularly shapes the race. A total of 22 classes are being scored. The GT4 category and several one-make cups are particularly well-represented, among others.

This mix of professional works teams, experienced Nürburgring specialists, and ambitious private drivers makes the event particularly appealing.

Organization allows for a large number of participants

The expansion of the starting field presented the organizers with logistical challenges. However, through intensive coordination and adjustments to the area planning, a solution was found to allow all qualified teams to participate.

According to race control, this was only possible through the cooperation of all involved. Collaboration within the endurance racing community is considered a key factor.

Motorsport event with festival character

The 24 Hours of Nürburgring is considered one of the biggest motorsport events worldwide, combining sporting competition with a festival atmosphere. A broad field of participants and a high level of performance are also expected in 2026.
