At the 46th RCM DMV Grenzlandrennen on June 17, 2023, at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, BMW continued its lucky streak, securing another victory in the endurance championship.

In qualifying, experienced drivers Frank Stippler and Vincent Kolb still had the edge and enjoyed pole position with a fastest lap of 7:53.112 minutes. Behind them, with a gap of 03.447 seconds, lurked the BMW team of Walkenhorst Motorsport, who delivered a lap time of 7:56.559 minutes. In third place was the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 from PROsport-Racing, landing in the top 3 in qualifying with a fastest lap of 7:57.813 minutes.
But BMW took second place at the start as a motivational boost – with success! In the end, and after numerous fierce battles in the green hell, the BMW M4 GT3 drivers Jakub Giermaziak and Christian Krognes from Walkenhorst Motorsport beamed from the winner's podium.

„It feels incredibly good to have won half of the races so far in the Nürburgring Endurance Series,“ beamed Jakub Giermaziak after the race. „The car was perfect. And after our bad luck in the 24h race, this is exactly the right result to start the second third of the season at full throttle.“
„Our BMW ran like clockwork,“ said teammate Christian Krognes, who was also happy. "And we now have the right tire set available for all temperatures. The combination – especially with Kuba – is fantastic."
The „octane126“ team also showed ambition and motivation. They started from seventh position but fought their way up to second place through hard work.

Ferrari driver Luca Ludwig of „octane126“ was very pleased with second place:
„BMW was unbeatable today. But it was also our first time competing this year. For that, it went really well.“ Teammate Björn Grossmann added: „We worked our way forward quite well in the race and gained a lot of experience for the upcoming races.“ The Swiss added: „There's more to come.“
Third on the podium was the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 with drivers Mike David Ortmann and Maxime Dumarey, who successfully defended their third place from qualifying. „Amazing,“ beamed driver Maxime Dumarey at the award ceremony. „Yesterday, we were still discussing whether we would manage to achieve a lap time under eight minutes and perhaps get into the top 5. Today, we're on the podium, and with 7:58.408 minutes, we've also achieved the second goal. It couldn't be better.“
