Verstappen.com Racing announced just in time for Christmas Eve: From the 2026 season, a Mercedes-AMG GT3 will compete in the GT World Challenge Europe.

The team of four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen is entering into a multi-year partnership with Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing. It will run in collaboration with the experienced racing team 2 Seas Motorsport.

The car will be used in the Pro class in both the Sprint Cup and the Endurance Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe and will compete in the familiar Red Bull design. 2 Seas Motorsport brings extensive experience with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 to the project and is one of the most successful customer teams in recent years.

In the Sprint Cup, Verstappen.com Racing will be represented by Chris Lulham and Daniel Juncadella. Juncadella has already been a works driver for Mercedes-AMG and will also compete for Genesis in the Hypercar class of the FIA World Endurance Championship in the coming season.

Mercedes-AMG Performance Driver Jules Gounon has been added to the driver line-up for the Endurance Cup. Together with Lulham and Juncadella, he forms a strong driver trio with a clear focus on top positions in the overall standings.

Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing describes the collaboration as a long-term and ambitious project. The combination of an established racing team, a competitive car and a top-class driver line-up should create a solid basis for sporting success in both GT World Challenge Europe classifications.

Verstappen.com Racing can look back on successful years in GT3 racing. Last season, the team won the Endurance Cup Gold Cup title with an Aston Martin Vantage GT3. Victories were also achieved in the Sprint Cup Gold Cup with a Ferrari 296 GT3, which also competed in Max Verstappen’s branding.

By switching to Mercedes-AMG, Verstappen.com Racing is underlining its ambition to establish itself permanently at the highest level in international GT racing.
