The 28th Techno Classica in Essen for lovers of classic cars, youngtimers, and historic race cars runs until April 10th. According to the organizer, all 20 exhibition halls, including the Grugahalle for the first time, and four outdoor areas are occupied. Around 1,250 exhibitors from 30 nations are represented. Around 25 car manufacturers are presenting selected historic exhibits at their factory stands. Among the manufacturers and brands represented are Alfa Romeo, Audi, Autostadt Wolfsburg, BMW, Bentley, Bugatti, Citroën, Fiat, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Opel, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen Classic, and Volvo, among others. In terms of motorsport history, S.I.H.A. is showcasing the ten most spectacular racing cars from the legendary Mille Miglia 1955, arguably the toughest road race after World War II, in exhibition hall six around the ‚Palais de l'Automobile’. Spare parts dealers are opening their treasure chests, and restorers are offering their services. Suppliers, automotive literature vendors, accessory sellers, watch and technology dealers, artists and gallery owners, model car vendors, and publishers complete the offering. 220 classic car clubs and interest groups are involved, offering over 200 special exhibitions (more detailed, updated information at www.siha.de).
