Mercedes-AMG Team RAVENOL announces race on the Nürburgring Nordschleife from 2026

From the 2026 season, another team will be added to endurance racing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife: Under the name Mercedes-AMG Team RAVENOL, a Mercedes-AMG GT3 is planned to compete in the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) and the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Race Nürburgring.

The project is designed as a multi-year cooperation. The plan is to compete in a total of six NLS events and the 24-hour race on the Nordschleife. Operational implementation is carried out by Winward Racing, which acts as the official Mercedes-AMG performance team and draws on technical support from Mercedes-AMG Motorsport.

The vehicle design is based on an existing Mercedes-AMG GT3 appearance in touring car racing. The racing car is to start with the starting number 80, which refers to the year RAVENOL was founded in 1946. The design is complemented by a cheetah motif as a visual feature.

With the planned commitment, RAVENOL is further expanding its presence in international endurance racing. The company has already been active as a partner in the Nürburgring environment for several years and, among other things, provides names for central racing series and events. At the recent 24-hour race, a significant proportion of the starting field relied on products from the lubricant manufacturer.

Statements from those involved underline the long-term orientation of the project and the existing cooperation between RAVENOL, Mercedes-AMG Motorsport and Winward Racing. The aim is to make the partnership visible on the Nordschleife in the future.

Further details on driver pairings, deployment planning and technical specifications will be announced at a later date.
