After a comparatively quiet year for the likeable racing driver Jan-Erik Slooten from Geldern, there is now news: The popular driver, who can count on a large fan base, has announced his return to the race track for 2026.
In an Instagram post with just the words “2026 Countdown …”, there are many indications that fans and competitors can expect a new project with a Porsche racing car. In the accompanying short video, a sticker with the words “24H NBR 2026” can also be seen – a clear indication of a possible participation in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring.
Particularly interesting: Timo Scheider, who now lives near the Nürburgring, also shared the video and commented on it with “… let’s goo”. This suggests that the former DTM champion could also be involved in the planned project.
It will be interesting to see how the project develops. We will stay tuned and continue to report.
