The Haupt Racing Team (HRT) will be competing in the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring 2026 with a new and unusual partner. The team from Drees will enter a Ford Mustang GT3 in the corporate design of the German Armed Forces in the endurance classic and in selected races of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). The cooperation includes both the preparatory races and the 24-hour race itself, which will take place on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife from May 14 to 17, 2026.

The Ford Mustang GT3 used will be designed in a striking, polygonal camouflage look that is based on the visual identity of the Bundeswehr. The aim of the partnership is, in particular, to appeal to potential recruits. With its presence in the motorsport environment, the Bundeswehr would like to bring its career prospects and entry-level opportunities closer to a wide audience.

As part of the 24-hour race, the Bundeswehr will also be on site to inform visitors about career paths in various areas. These include technical, medical, logistical and IT-related activities in both the military and civilian sectors.

HRT Managing Director Ulrich Fritz sees the collaboration as a special link between motorsport and the requirements of other performance-oriented organizations. Aspects such as teamwork, technical precision and resilience play a central role in both areas, especially in a demanding endurance race such as the 24-hour event on the Nordschleife.

The Bundeswehr also sees the cooperation as an opportunity to present its professional offers in a dynamic environment. The partnership was brokered by the SKH Sports agency.

With the eye-catching vehicle design and the new cooperation, the Haupt Racing Team will attract special attention at the season highlight on the Nürburgring, not only in sporting terms but also visually.
