At the end of the year, the hearts of car fans all over Europe beat faster: The Essen Motor Show invites you to the furious season finale in the Ruhr area from November 29 to December 7, 2025 (Preview Day: November 28). Around 500 exhibitors from 23 countries will transform nine halls at Messe Essen into an extravagant festival for performance & racing, tuning & lifestyle, motorsport and classic cars. In addition to a number of premieres, the car-loving public can look forward to numerous promotions and specials.
Project Manager Ralf Sawatzki announces unforgettable moments for this year’s trade fair: “Visitors come to us because they want to experience something. That’s why there will be even more action at the stands and in the show area this year. We want the fans to come here with a smile and leave with an even bigger smile.” In order to achieve this, there will be autograph sessions and product demonstrations as well as a special on the Dakar Rally with vehicles from the past and present. In addition, visitors to the Mercedes Fan World in Hall 3 can look forward to the Maybach Exelero, one of the most exciting projects in automotive history. The one-off reaches 351 km/h and will be on show for the first time at the Essen Motor Show.
Things get particularly fast-paced again in Hall 8, where visitors can experience the excitement of motorsport and make contacts in the industry. Sometimes this leads to great careers: The EMS provided a platform for future Formula 1 world champions Nico Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel when they were still up-and-coming talents. But even if they don’t go on to have a great career, it’s still worth visiting exhibitors such as the Automobilclub von Deutschland, Ernst Racing and the touring car legends. The Girls Only Team from Giti Tire, the only all-female team in motorsport, will also be on site.
