The historical look back at the RGB season finale in 1996 shows Pertti Kuismanen in a car that still enjoys legendary status to this day.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 1996, the traditional <strong>RGB season finale at the N\u00fcrburgring<\/strong> The crowning conclusion of a dramatic season. The championship, saved on its own initiative by a driver community after a serious crisis, attracted not only the German elite to the final \u2013 thanks to a collaboration with the Scandinavian team. <em>Nordic Cup<\/em> The field was spectacularly upgraded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here we see the Finnish racing driver <strong>Pertti Kuismanen<\/strong>, who traveled to the Eifel that weekend as a \u201egreat unknown\u201c. Kuismanen started with a <strong>Audi 100 S4 GTO<\/strong> in the <strong>the large division<\/strong> over 2 liters of displacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The far <strong>over 700 hp<\/strong> (up to 900 hp depending on the charging pressure) the strong Breitbau Audi was driven by the Finn in impressive fashion. The car was originally built by <em>Audi Sport South Africa<\/em> Built and based on pure IMSA GTO technology under an extremely Kevlar body. Kuismanen completely dominated the competition in the pouring Eifel rain and immediately won the race. <strong>Overall victory<\/strong>.
