In just under a week, the 2026 24 Hours of Spa will begin, and the tradition-steeped endurance classic can once again look forward to an impressive field of competitors. A total of 70 GT3 cars have been confirmed for the 78th edition of the race, which will take place from June 24th to 28th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The provisional entry list was published as part of the official prologue and promises a high-class competition with numerous top teams, manufacturers, and drivers from international GT sports. The field is spread across five classes: 18 vehicles will compete in the Pro category, nine in the Gold Cup, 16 in the Silver Cup, 19 in the Bronze Cup, and eight in the Pro-Am standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A total of ten manufacturers are represented. Porsche fields the largest contingent with 16 vehicles, followed by Mercedes-AMG with eleven. BMW, Ferrari, and McLaren are each bringing eight vehicles to the starting line. The field is completed by Aston Martin with seven cars, as well as Audi, Corvette, Ford, and Lamborghini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Special attention is given to Lamborghini. The Italian brand is fielding the new Temerario GT3 in a 24-hour race for the first time. Additionally, Ferrari, Ford, and Porsche will compete with further developed versions of their GT3 vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The provisional entry list includes over 250 drivers from 43 nations and all five continents. Among them are 15 previous overall winners of the race. The defending champions Mirko Bortolotti, Jordan Pepper, and Luca Engstler are also returning to Spa, but will compete in different vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prominent names in the field include Jules Gounon, competing for Verstappen Racing, Valentino Rossi, Arthur Leclerc, Raffaele Marciello, and Nicki Thiim, among others.
