The official results for the ADAC RAVENOL 24h N\u00fcrburgring 2026 have not yet been confirmed. This is due to irregularities found during a post-race technical inspection of the second-place finishing Lamborghini Hurac\u00e1n GT3 EVO2, car number 84, from ABT Sportsline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the race, the top-placed vehicles from the six strongest GT3 manufacturers were selected for routine technical inspection. This included, among other things, performance measurements on a dynamometer. While the inspected vehicles from Aston Martin, BMW, Ford, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche showed no irregularities, deviations from the previously established reference values were found with the ABT-Lamborghini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to rumors, which unfortunately always quickly spread, the measured engine power of the vehicle was around 20 hp above the reference value. This would mean that the deviation would be outside the two percent tolerance range provided for in the regulations. However, a final assessment is still pending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The technical inspection of the Lamborghini proved to be complex. An initially planned measurement had to be postponed due to a defective clutch. After the component was replaced, a new examination was conducted on the dynamometer. Further irregularities occurred during this, which extended the checks over several days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Technical Stewards' report has since been handed over to the Race Stewards. They will review the case and give the team an opportunity to comment. The race result remains provisional until a decision is made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The speed values of the Lamborghini vehicles were already noticeable during the event. Especially on the D\u00f6ttinger H\u00f6he, the ABT-Hurac\u00e1n continued to achieve high top speeds despite a balance of performance adjustment made before the race, which was disadvantageous for Lamborghini. The average of the fastest 20 percent of the measured speeds for car number 84 was determined to be 275.2 km\/h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sportingly, the ABT Lamborghini was among the strongest vehicles in the race. The car, piloted by Mirko Bortolotti, Luca Engstler, and Patric Niederhauser, finished the 24 hours in second place overall. Additionally, Niederhauser set the fastest race lap of the event with a time of 8:08.758 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
