Zum Saisonauftakt am 28. M\u00e4rz 2026 in Katar wird das Team erneut mit zwei Peugeot 9X8 an den Start gehen, die jeweils von international erfahrenen Fahrer-Trios pilotiert werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den Peugeot 9X8 mit der Startnummer <strong>#93<\/strong> werden <strong>Nick Cassidy<\/strong>, <strong>Paul di Resta<\/strong> und <strong>Stoffel Vandoorne<\/strong> steuern. Di Resta und Vandoorne geh\u00f6ren seit mehreren Jahren zum WEC-Aufgebot von Peugeot und bringen umfassende Erfahrung aus dem Langstreckensport ein. Cassidy erg\u00e4nzt das Trio als Neuzugang im WEC-Programm des Herstellers zur Saison 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Schwesterfahrzeug mit der Startnummer <strong>#94<\/strong> kommen <strong>Lo\u00efc Duval<\/strong>, <strong>Malthe Jakobsen<\/strong> und <strong>Th\u00e9o Pourchaire<\/strong> zum Einsatz. Duval z\u00e4hlt zu den erfahrensten Piloten im Feld und konnte bereits einen Weltmeistertitel im Langstreckensport erringen. Zudem hat er \u2013 ebenso wie Paul di Resta \u2013 bereits 26 Eins\u00e4tze f\u00fcr Peugeot absolviert. Jakobsen ist seit 2025 fester Bestandteil des Fahreraufgebots, w\u00e4hrend Pourchaire 2026 seine erste vollst\u00e4ndige Saison in der FIA WEC bestreiten wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eLo\u00efc Duval und Paul di Resta sind zentrale St\u00fctzen unseres Programms und werden eine entscheidende Rolle f\u00fcr die Leistungsf\u00e4higkeit beider Fahrerkombinationen spielen\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt <strong>Olivier Jansonnie<\/strong>, Technischer Direktor von Peugeot Sport. \u201eDie beiden Trios sind ausgewogen zusammengestellt und vereinen Fahrer mit besonderen St\u00e4rken in unterschiedlichen Rennphasen \u2013 vom Start bis zum Qualifying.
