\n\n
BMW M Motorsport will continue its hypercar programs in the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2026 with its factory drivers unchanged. The eight drivers, who are already competing in 2025, will also drive the four BMW M Hybrid V8s in the upcoming season. Only the fixed driver pairings will change in the IMSA series.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n
Philipp Eng (AUT), Robin Frijns (NED), Kevin Magnussen (DEN), Raffaele Marciello (SUI), Ren\u00e9 Rast (GER), Sheldon van der Linde (RSA), Dries Vanthoor (BEL), and Marco Wittmann (GER) will once again compete in the works programs of both racing series. Vanthoor and van der Linde will contest a double program in FIA WEC and IMSA, as they did last year. Eng and Wittmann will return to the IMSA series for another full season. The BMW M Team WRT will take over from BMW M Team RLL there starting in 2026 and will compete with the BMW M Hybrid V8 in both the FIA WEC and the IMSA series in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the FIA WEC, the driver lineups remain unchanged: Kevin Magnussen, Raffaele Marciello, and Dries Vanthoor will continue to drive the #15 BMW M Hybrid V8, while Robin Frijns, Ren\u00e9 Rast, and Sheldon van der Linde will drive the No. 20 car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will be a change in the regular driver lineups for the IMSA series in 2026. Dries Vanthoor and Sheldon van der Linde will form the regular driver duo in the #24 BMW M Hybrid V8 and will be supported by Robin Frijns and Ren\u00e9 Rast in the endurance races.
