US-racer Colton Herta will compete for Cadillac in the 2026 season, but not in Formula 1. Instead, the 25-year-old will focus on entries in the prestigious endurance races of the North American IMSA series. He is scheduled to start in the classics at Daytona, Sebring, and Road Atlanta, where he will pilot the Cadillac V-Series.R.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In parallel, Herta remains part of Cadillac's Formula 1 project. He will take on the role of test and reserve driver there while simultaneously gaining racing experience in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with the Hitech Racing team. In total, Herta will have at least 17 race starts in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
